The service

Tail is a free macOS clipping app with optional share links. Use it at your own risk — it's provided as-is, without warranties of any kind.

Your content

Clips you record are yours. By creating a share link you make that clip publicly viewable by anyone with the URL. Don't upload content that's illegal, infringes someone else's rights, or that you don't have permission to share. We may remove content that violates this.

Share links

Share links expire and their videos are deleted from our storage 3 days after upload. Links are not a backup service — keep your local copies.

Accounts

You're responsible for your account. We can suspend accounts that abuse the service (spam, illegal content, attempts to disrupt the infrastructure).

Changes
